NFC Find Us on Yelp Card

Description

About the NFC Find Us on Yelp card

Yelp is used mainly by customers from North America and some international visitors. This card opens your Yelp business page so people can find your hours, photos, check in and read reviews.

What happens when someone taps it

They hold their phone near the card and your Yelp business page opens. Phones without NFC scan the QR code on the back instead. Nobody types an address or installs an app.

Which link to send us

Your Yelp business page address (yelp.com/biz/your-business). After you order, send it on WhatsApp +92 335 6656657; we programme it and test it before dispatch.

Where it works well

• Near the entrance or counter, as “Find us on Yelp”
• Hotel or restaurant welcome folders for foreign guests

Yelp rules to know

Important: Yelp asks businesses not to request reviews from anyone, and its software may not recommend reviews that look prompted by the business. Use this card to help people find your Yelp page, not to ask for reviews. Source: Yelp Support: Don’t ask for reviews.

The card makes it easier for a customer to reach your page. It does not guarantee reviews or ratings.

Questions

Does the customer need an app? No. The phone reads the card, or the QR code, and opens the link. On newer Android phones a small “open link” notification appears first; tap it.

Then why use a Yelp card? If your customers use Yelp, a quick way to reach your page lets them check in, see photos and find you again. Reviews should come from customers who choose to write them.
